Protocols can be especially powerful in the restoration and rejuvenation of local, indigenous and minority communities for greater and more equitable health and well-being. But what do these protocols for decolonisation, reclamation and revitalisation look like? How do they work and what are their contours and features? And what relevance do they have for you, even if you do not consider yourself to be local, indigenous or a minority?

This workshop at the H2Hotel Green Room is facilitated by Kevin Martens Wong, the Kabesa or Leader of the creole/indigenous Kristang people of Singapore and Southeast Asia, and Fuad Johari, a Senior Analyst at the Centre for Strategic Futures, and will use a Kristang lens to excavate a preliminary understanding of some of the most critical of these protocols and how they can be applied in diverse contexts and communities.
