Join us for the first day of our program where we will tour local sustainable community, OAEC, and engage in a facilitated discussion on making the transition to sustainable living place-based and the financial organization of intentional communities and living centers.

We will leave from H2Hotel at noon and carpool to OAEC, arriving at 1pm.

Visit a functioning sustainable community - the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center - that’s been a staple of Sonoma County’s permaculture and regenerative design movement for the last three decades.

We will look at the systems on site, define the just transition, and explore how people can organize themselves in connection to land and finance.

David Casey of Funding the Commons and Ryan Rising of Permaculture Action Network will join OAEC’s finance director to facilitate the tour.
