The Neighborhood’s goal is to recreate the vibe of Esmeralda in the middle of San Francisco. It’s an unconference series and real estate fund that creates great community living houses.

Our goal is long-term community ownership of ten 15 bedroom homes, each themed around a different frontier. So far we’ve hosted 4 conferences, started 2 houses, and been instrumental in the movement to live in Hayes Valley.

Come if you’re interested in what we’ve learned about how to create strong communities in weekend events, the pros and cons of various real estate investing strategies, and what we’ve learned (and would change!) about the Edge Esmerelda experience. These lessons are especially relevant to community builders and real estate developers.
