“Maybe we can figure it out together” is one of the names of God

What might religion look like in the villages and cities of tomorrow?  I don’t have the whole picture but I have some yearnings and some provisional partial answers.  Maybe we can figure it out together!

My wife (Jess aka autotranslucence) and I ran a series of experimental church services last year.  No more Christian than Christianity is Jewish, which is to say it shares a lineage & some imagery, but isn't beholden to previous traditions, identities or dogmas.

We paused those services when our daughter was born last August, also in part to take a step back and get a new perspective, and we don’t yet have a clear picture of what the next phase might look like, but I felt called to offer something into Edge Esmeralda—likely pretty similar to what we did last year.

We're into nonduality and the emptiness of meaning & symbols, and also into the idea that whatever we might want to refer to with the term "God" must necessarily be know-able, but that it's also possible to be confused about the nature of God. Is God a being? Maybe we can figure it out together!

There will be singing, there will be prayer, and there will be a sincere attempt to behold divinity together and to cultivate collective will towards something more.
