As two best friends battle for control of the narrative on the internet, their realities bend through the funhouse mirror reflections of social media, and then shatter.
The film will be released alongside an interactive social media flashmob that blurs the line between fiction and reality, designed to increase nuanced conversation and media literacy about these topics. In a storytelling structure that can become a blueprint for how groups and societies collectively create narrative-based sensemaking.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with the director about film, sensemaking, disinformation, the future of storytelling, AI, and video games.
