Let’s play the Estimation Game!

The estimation game asks you questions you are very unlikely to know the real answer to, such as “How many pounds of cargo did Fedex ship in the year 2022?”

The goal is to not provide an exact answer, but rather the tightest upper and lower bound on the answer such that you think you’d be right 90% of the time.

Score points for the true answer being within your bounds, and lose points for the answer being outside of your bounds. The tighter the bounds, the more you win or lose.

We’ll form small teams and play through a few question sets.
