The Sanskrit word Tantra means “to weave” and is the study of the macrocosm through the microcosm. It allows the practitioner to merge with the fabric of the Ultimate Reality and reveals the interconnection of all things, as threads of the whole, woven together as One. Often minimized and associated ONLY with sex, , Classical Tantra as inner union/non-duality addresses the vast energy of creation and is discovered via harmonizing masculine/feminine polarity through breath-centered presence practices, using the senses as a gateway to self-realization and spiritual ecstasy. It is the fountain from which all modern yoga posture practices sprang.
