How do we talk and tell a story about what it means to be part of a regenerative tribe today? This is an invitation to a creative storytelling exercise and conversation about the essence of the Gathering of Tribes and its potential. The intention is explore embodying a regenerative communication culture that feels healing, inclusive and vibrant.

The Gathering of Tribes 2024 takes place at a time of great transformation. An old world may be dying, and with it, colonial, extractive, and violent ways of communicating. Against that background, how can we actively make space for the shadows in our story and conversations, for composting, for conscious moments of non-action rather than blindly rushing into reproducing the patterns we thought we left behind? Who are we at this time and in this place and what is our role at the GoT?

After having explored what we would like to leave behind, we will dive into the potential of what it could mean to live, work, and communicate as part of a regenerative tribe. We will reflect on the expressions of our collective self-consciousness and explore the potential of our story as greater organism. As regenerative communicators, we’ll also sense how to “weave” the conversations and people at the gathering with others in the wider regenerative movement. In particular, we would like to make sure that existing conversations in other contexts can be continued at the gathering and that emerging conversations from here will be planted in fertile soil - in communities and places.

The session will include an imagination exercise, a “story tree” writing session, as well as moments of shared reflections and conversation.

We will meet at the main stage and then go to the place for our workshop circle. It will last 1,5h
