This experiential workshop utilizes human movement study of Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis (LBMA). We facilitate the meaning-making process through various activities including embodiment, learning LBMA theory through movement exploration, observation, creating phrases, writing, discussion, and collaboration.

This workshop focuses on 1) psychophysiological awareness by exploring the interconnectedness between inner intention and physiological expression, 2) discovering multiple identities and associated movement qualities, 3) developmental movements and various movement qualities, 4) our dysfunctional responses or patterns of movement and psychology, and 5) implications.
