Modern life often disconnects us from our bodies and inner world. Many times, we simply feel tired, tense, or uncomfortable, yet we cannot clearly explain why.
Hakomi is a self-exploration approach rooted in mindfulness and somatic awareness. By observing body sensations, it helps us notice how emotions and inner patterns show up in the body.
In body awareness practices, unexpected emotional movements are the most valuable experiences. They may allow us to see the parts of ourselves that we usually overlook — our automatic reactions, habitual emotions, and the patterns that arise unconsciously in relationships.
Many changes do not happen because we have “figured things out” mentally. Sometimes, change begins in a moment when we suddenly feel different.
When we return to daily life with this state of awareness, we may naturally access a more positive and alive part of ourselves. This kind of experience goes beyond the framework of language.
This is a self-awareness practice that invites us to move from the mind back to the body. There is no need to analyze, and no pressure to change ourselves. We simply stay with our present-moment experience and listen again to what the body is expressing.
No prior experience is needed. Just come with an open heart.
