Matthew Fisher hosted “The Love Symposium” twice in San Fransisco, which was an event to bring together the leading thinkers in modern relationship, psychology, psychometrics, and AI matchmaking and personality analysis. It was covered by the New York Times last year. His work is based on his early research on image generation models, and applying the field mechanistic interpretability and embeddings to human personalities and relationships.

This is related to social network analysis, social physics, generative psychometrics, and broadly applications for AI to understand humans more deeply, and to help improve the quality of our relationships.

他的研究始于对图像生成模型的早期探索，进而将机制可解释性（mechanistic interpretability）与嵌入表示（embeddings）的方法引入对人类人格与亲密关系的建模。这一工作正处于社会网络分析、社会物理学与生成式心理测量学的交汇之处；而在更广的意义上，它指向同一个命题——让人工智能更深地理解人类，并以此真正改善我们关系的质量。
