Safe Space X Cancel Council is your opportunity to voice controversial or challenging opinions which you have been or would otherwise be cancelled for.

Come for a fun and challenging night when a group of intrepid peers engage in mutual vulnerability and openness, to share and hear one another’s thoughts with compassion and intensity.

Come prepared with your most controversial cancel-worthy opinion!

Constitution/Ground rules:

• Everything that happens inside the room stays inside the room

• Come with radical openness & compassion

• Acknowledge that your feelings and response to other ideas are your responsibility

Trigger warning:

• Trauma-informed facilitators will be present

• There is a possibility that you or others in the room may become triggered

• If you become triggered, please take the opportunity to break out to the safe space that's right for you. We aspire to enable each participant to process what you are feeling without needing to cancel others from engaging further in conversation

• Please inform facilitators in advance if you know your needs when you are in a triggered state - e.g. a buddy, a hug, a fight, etc…
